Cast iron with boss, hammertone pointed. Brass thumbscrew chrome plated to fit boss. Suitable for fixing on rods up to 13mm Dia. The distance between centre of ring and supporting rod is approx. 120 mm for all sizes.

SALT BRIDGE

For use in experiments involving the measurement of cell EMF under condistions of forward, zero, and reverse current flow. The bridge comprises an inverted 'U' tube with its ends closed by sintered discs. This apparatus provides a more effective method of making reversible cells than the wet filter paper or agar gel methods. Arm diameter 13 mm, width 8 cms. and overall height 10cms.
